Being a woman in a male dominated industry isn’t cute or glamorous.
It’s biting your tongue when someone says something wildly inappropriate because if you react, you’re the problem.
It’s fake laughing at jokes that make your stomach turn, because professionalism apparently means tolerating disrespect.
It’s the stares when you walk into a barn.
The comments they think you didn’t hear.
The glances they don’t know you caught.
And the way you walk a little faster to your truck when you’re the last one there at night pretending you’re not scared, pretending you don’t notice, pretending this is normal.
It’s working twice as hard to be taken seriously.
It’s being called “lucky” when you’ve bled for it.
It’s rumors that sprout out of thin air because God forbid a woman succeed without a man’s help.
And the irony? You could be minding your business, grinding, keeping it classy and still, someone’s running their mouth. Because the truth is, confidence and competence in a woman will always make the insecure ones twitch.
So yeah, I’ll keep showing up.
I’ll keep getting the deals, selling the horses, doing the work. I’ll laugh through the crap they throw and keep stacking wins while they whisper.
Because the reality is I’m not here to make anyone comfortable.
I’m here to prove that I can walk into a man’s world, build my own damn empire, and still smile while doing it.
So yeah, I’ll keep laughing, working, and winning even when it’s uncomfortable.
Because I didn’t come this far to let someone else’s ego make me small.
