It’s crazy how the people you end up closest to are usually the ones you almost didn’t talk to.
It’s never the ones you planned on either. It’s never the “we should totally get lunch sometime” people. It’s the random ones who saw you losing it over something dumb and said, “same.” And that was it. Friendship. Sealed.
Half my favorite humans started as awkward small talk that turned into “why are we like this?” conversations. The other half? Probably thought I was too much at first but plot twist, I was just their kind of too much.
So yeah, talk to people. Laugh too loud. Make friends with the ones who make you snort. You never know who’s about to be the peanut butter to your unhinged jelly.
